Local Outreach


Ministries include:

  • Bible Distribution
  • This project involves ordering and distributing Bibles and Bible Storybooks locally. There are Bibles and Bible Storybooks available in both English and Spanish.

  • Construction/Maintenance
  • This project involves general home repairs and maintenance for those in the community who need services such as roofing, yard maintenance, leaking faucets, etc.  This also includes projects with our local Habitat for Humanity to assist with new home construction and/or related projects.

  • Family Outreach
  • This project involves Meals-On-Wheels for new mothers and the ill, the Silverton Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale (Proceeds go to the Local Harvest Call), Harvest Call Kits (Food Kits, Health Kits, Infant Kits and School Kits) and blood drives coordinated with our local Red Cross.

  • Financial Aid
  • This project involves working with individuals and families within our community with financial assistance and budget planning. Our team will also help coordinate, prepare, and respond when disaster strikes our communities, such as flooding or fires.

  • Outreach Shelters
  • This project involves coordinating events with our local outreach shelters and food banks, such as Union Gospel Mission (UGM), Simonka Place Women & Children’s Shelter, and Hope Station. Projects include chapel services, meal preparation and serving, Vacation Bible School, Food Drives and Distribution, and volunteering hours helping with services offered at these shelters.

  • Woodcutting
  • This project involves preparing and delivering firewood for those with a need for assistance with home heating.
